    Redesign: A One-Day Makeover for Your Space

    What is Interior Redesign?

    It really is the ultimate in recycling, reusing and repurposing. Redesign is decorating at its most economical and personal because we use your own furniture and accessories to transform your rooms into beautiful new spaces. We will help you to achieve that same designer look, without the designer price tag.

    Your home is filled with things you love, treasures you've purchased, gifts from family and friends and souvenirs from your travels. Using these items to reinvent your space insures your home will truly reflect your personality.

    The process begins with an in home consultation to determine what you do and don't like about the room, decorating challenges you've faced, how you want the room to function and your unique decorating style. We'll take a brief walk through the other rooms in your home and you'll identify which we can and cannot "shop" for furniture and accessories on the day of the redesign. We'll then provide you with a cost estimate and the opportunity to schedule the redesign.

    On the day of the redesign, plan to go to work, run errands, visit with friends or otherwise occupy yourself while we work to create a beautiful new space for you to return to later that day. We'll completely empty the room to be redesigned, identify the focal point and then determine the best possible furniture arrangement before we begin to rebuild the room with all of the elements needed to create a beautiful and functional space. We'll also provide you with a list of items you may want to purchase to add that final polish to your room and some budget conscious places to find them.

    We are so confident that you will love your new room redesign, that we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. All we ask is that you give it 14 days to adjust to the change. If you are still not satisfied, we will come back to work with you on tweaking the design free of charge.

    If you prefer to be involved in the redesign process, there is an option for that as well. Just give us a call to discuss this option further.

    $250

    Rooms are priced according to size and amount of furniture. Additional $20 per hour if a helper is needed We can provide a quote by phone with information and a few photos from you.

    Coffee, Wine & ReDesign

    With this service, your friends, neighbors, relatives or co-workers will come to your home for coffee and bagels in the morning, meet the decorator and view the room you have selected to undergo a redesign (the Before). Later that day, after Done in a Day Design transforms your room, your guests will return to enjoy a glass of wine, cheese and crackers and view the transformation that took place earlier that day (the After). Enjoy food, fun, wine and a redesign all in one day. Your friends will be amazed by your beautiful new space. All food and beverage are compliments of Done in a Day Design.

    Decorating Consultation

    Struggling with giving your rooms a polished look? Trying to determine a specific style for your room makeover? Is furniture layout an issue? Or do you just need to run your own ideas past a decorating professional? Whatever your issue, we would be happy to help you work through it quickly and efficiently, always keeping your budget in mind.

    Looking to transform your room from the ground up? Or maybe you want to keep some pieces of furniture and change everything else about the room? We can do that as well. From selecting flooring to furniture and fabrics, we can help you to create a space you'll love for years to come. Of course, we can't do it in a day but we can work with you to develop a time line you'll be comfortable with.

    Pricing determined after meeting with you, assessing your needs and estimating time involved in your project.

    Color Consultation


    We're constantly being told that paint is the cheapest and easiest way to transform our spaces, but those experts forget to mention that selecting the right paint colors can paralyze the most confident among us. What happens if I hate the color? Who wants to paint the entire room again? And so the hated color remains on the walls for years.

    Christine is certified in The Color With No Regrets system that takes the guess work out of selecting the right paint color for your spaces. The system is patented and utilizes a scientific and numeric process to identify those colors most appealing to each of us.

    The process begins with a non-verbal color test to determine which colors you are most drawn to. We'll then measure the colors currently in your home, from fabrics to wood furnishings and cabinetry. All will be evaluated in the rooms natural light keeping in mind their metamerism, saturation and undertone.

    We'll then discuss the look and feel you want to achieve for your rooms and provide you with the knowledge and confidence needed to insure you'll never agonize over colors again.

    $100 for two rooms of your choice.

    Personal Shopping

    Whether you decide you would like us to tackle that list of items we recommend to complete your room, or you just have a particular lamp, painting, rug, etc. you've been searching for, we can do the leg work for you. We know all of the best locations to get certain items at the best possible price, saving you time and aggravation.

    The holidays bring with them the anticipation of days and nights filled with shopping, time with family, memorable meals and entertaining. But often for today's busy households the joy of the holiday season is overshadowed by the burden of trying to prepare your house to look as festive and beautiful as you would like and still keep up with everything else going on in your life.

    This year you can scratch holiday decorating off the to do list and leave it to us. We can take your vision for your home and turn it into a reality. Whether you want to create a warm, welcoming all natural decor or go for all out sparkle and glam, we can achieve the look you are after.

    We'll use your own decorations or, if you prefer, we can purchase what you need based on the budget you provide. And yes, you can hire us to take it all down and pack it up after the holiday is over.

    $75 per hour with a two hour minimum.

    All fees are due at time of service.
